The True Meaning of “It Takes a Village”

Author, educator, mentor and speaker, Dr Michelle Gamble, is co-founder and director of It Takes a Village Ministry – a World Council for Health (WCH) coalition partner – and Sankofa Healing and Enrichment. On Better Way Today on 29 April 2024, Zoe Strickland from WCH spoke with Dr Gamble about what inspired her to help people with chronic illness to transform their health.

Dr Gamble’s mission is to create and sustain natural healing communities across the globe. She believes that there is a divine healer within each of us that enables us to break free from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual pain and suffering to lead happy, healthy, and purpose-driven lives.

Dr Gamble’s work grew out of her own personal health journey, when she recognised that she needed community in order to heal. After the birth of her fourth child she experienced postpartum depression, which a psychiatrist misdiagnosed as bipolar, sending her away with a prescription. She knew immediately that this would not be her journey but that she needed to do three things:

  1. To learn how to heal herself and not accept what she calls ‘medical hexing’.
  2. To learn how to help others heal – beyond the limitations of the current medical paradigm that sees everything that is natural for us as an opportunity to intervene medically.
  3. To find community and sisterhood.

Her work has evolved into two offerings: the for-profit company Sankofa Healing and Enrichment, and the not-for-profit organisation It Takes a Village Ministry.

It takes a village to raise a child

In this clip, Dr Gamble explains how the African concept that ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ actually applies to each and every one of us. It is not possible to live a healthy life as an isolated individual. We are not meant to be alone!

The answer is within!

The Hope and Healing Tour helps people become aware of what’s going on in their bodies, and encourages them to change everyday lifestyle habits, like sleep, diet, movement, and responses to stress, which contribute to chronic illnesses.

An important aspect of the programme is letting go of having to ‘trust the experts’ and learning instead to trust our own instincts. Every culture on earth has traditions of prayer and meditation, going within, and asking for guidance and understanding. We will never hear our inner voice tell us that we need a drug; instead it will invite us to shift something in our life that not only alleviates the symptom, but also leaves us with greater clarity, drive, power, passion, and purpose.

The message to ‘go within’ is what first inspired Dr Gamble many years ago. In this short clip, she describes the gifts of going within, knowing that you have the support of a community.

The WHO’s Global Power Grab is a must-watch two-part film featuring over 100 health freedom activists and politicians speaking out about the WHO-facilitated corporate power grab. This powerful public interest film was created, compiled, and launched in South Africa this year, ahead of the WHO’s World Health Assembly 77 that is happening next month in May. This informative and empowering film, which includes experts from news, interviews, and conferences, highlights what is The Who, who funds it, where are the hidden conflicts of interest, who is its director general, how did he come to power despite his controversial history, understanding The Who’s power grab through constantly changing but legally binding IHR 2005 amendments, and a proposed new pandemic treaty? How does this power grab connect to the new world order and the agenda to erode democracy through global governance? How are a growing number of politicians responding internationally? What about the role of mainstream media and fact-checkers in censorship, misinformation, and disinformation? And how can we, the people, resist this global corporate coup? What actions can we take nationally and internationally? You can find this video on Rumble. The link is up there at the top, and I can also post the link in the chat in a little bit, too, wherever you might be watching this. And last night, the World Council for Health hosted another Better Way live event right in Bath, UK. This event featured our very own Dr. Tess Laurie, as well as Christoph and our special guest, Brett Weinstein. Christoph, let me bring you back on screen with me. I was hoping that you could share a brief summary for those of us who were unable to attend this event live, because I’m happy to report that this event was recorded and it’s currently being edited as we speak. It’s going to be made available to watch online in the coming days for a small donation. So, Christoph, I wish I could have been there, but tell me what it was like. Well, we wished he could have been there. Well, as you could see, the team arranged some very comfortable chairs on the stage and so it was a beautiful setting and it was a very memorable night. It was about Four different chapters and it was introduced each time with a little movie. And whilst a few years ago this would have been all considered conspiracy theory, you just listen to Mr. Harari and Mr. Schwab. who openly now declared that everything that people have been accused of creating hypotheses upon in the last few years is the reality that they wish for us. But it got into a very, very interesting discussion with the three of us, and it actually widened the original plot and became a very universal reflection of the last few years. and what is to come. So I think it’s worth watching. I think all of us who were present really, really enjoyed it. And there were some interesting questions from the crowd as well. And it was a beautiful exchange. Of course, timekeeping wasn’t our It wasn’t our talent. But anyway, I think we packed in as much information as we could. And Brad, with his broad perspective as an evolutionary biologist, brought some very, very interesting aspects to our evolution and how we influence our environment and ourselves for a future that either is completely dark or is filled with light. wonderful um I will have to remember everything you just said so I can use that when we’re ready to promote this that sounded great I was already looking forward to watching the recording and now I am even more um I’m obviously uh I love talking to you and Tess and hearing what you have to say, but I’m a big fan of Brett as well. I really like his book for anyone that doesn’t have it. We do have it in the WCH shop, shop.worldcouncilforhealth.org. His commentary on things is always very interesting. So I think that that’s going to be a great one. And I’m really glad to hear that we recorded it and that it’ll be available for people who weren’t able to get to Bath for that one. That’s great. So I’m just going to hand it over to you now for Better Way News. Okay. Well, again, it was quite difficult to choose from all the highlights of the last week, but I’ll make it very brief. Amongst the many decentralized counties and parties that decided to step out of the common saga, Arizona is the recent one, because Arizona, the Republican Party declared COVID-19 injections biological and technological weapons, a huge step, and that’s the second county doing so. And so the party has now passed the ban the jab resolution and declares that COVID-19 injections are biological and technological weapons. This resolution actually declares that COVID-19 injections, biological technology weapons, calls on the governor to prohibit the distribution and the attorney general to confiscate the vials and conduct a forensic analysis of their contents. This is huge and will keep you updated on its progress. Next one, please. And talk about another huge headline. According to information released by the Epoch Times, Pfizer purposefully failed to advise regulators, including Health Canada, the US FDA, and the EMA, the European Medicine Agency, that the cancer-linked SV40 DNA enhancer was present. So everybody who has been following the discoveries of Kevin McKernan knows that this SV40 DNA enhancer actually serves as an entrance for carcinogenic substances into the cell And well, we don’t know why it was put there in the first place, but that they even forgot to label it is a huge violation and that might have huge legal implications. So we’ll keep you updated on this. And next one, please. And Emma already indicated the World Council for Health published last week 12 known mechanisms of cancer causation by the COVID injections. You’ve probably heard in your neighborhood, hopefully not in your family, and amongst your friends that more and more people seem to be suffering the fate from catching cancer. And whilst this trend is currently denied, there are some obvious red flags that show us that there’s something wrong here since 2021. If we look at the development, this paper goes into the recent publications and also the Japanese study looking into a clear association of the COVID vaccines and an increase in cancer. So please make sure if you’re from the scientific or the medical field to read this. And if you are interested in this topic, please print it out so you can use it for further discussions. And next one, please. And yeah, another big topic and everybody who has so far followed the work of Dr. James Thorpe knows that he’s passionate in defending the rights of the unborn and the pregnant mothers. And whilst he was searching through the data, uh he again stressed the kobe charts are catastrophic to pregnant women and unborn babies and he found that usually in the cdc when there’s a two-fold increase it’s a danger signal but you can read it here uh there’s a 1500 fold increase in menstrual abnormality there’s a 58 fold in miscarriages and a 38 fold in fetal death So please make sure you support his work. His voice is badly needed when it comes to the early use of the COVID injections. And next one, please. And well, we often heard about the fate of farmers and the blame that’s being put on all the cattle out there and the solutions that are being offered by the usual suspects, one of them being Bill Gates, who invested heavily in synthetic meat and synthetic breast milk. And his latest now is synthetic butter and synthetic palm oil. So make sure you read carefully the label of everything you will see soon in the supermarket because this is completely genetically engineered and artificial. And as you can see here on the picture, he enjoys it very much. But I’d be careful looking at the long term consequences because even if you have the same fatty acids, there are a few more substances in butter that make butter a butter. So thank you very much. And next one, please. And yeah, again, an update on the EMF story, yet another 5G study, this time focusing on the microbiome and there was a clear effect in the range of 4.9 gigahertz that’s one of the frequencies used by 5g that led to reduced microbial diversity and changed microbial community distribution so in case you’re out there visiting your friends in the city and afterwards you’re a belly starts to rumble. Think about that it might not only have something to do with what you ate, but actually with the mobile phones in your train compartment. So, next one, please. And, Emma, you just already pointed out there has been a huge protest in Japan against the plans of the WHO. Last week, we reported of tens of thousands. Well, the size has now increased. Millions are out there protesting against the plan of the WHO. And according to the Japanese people, the WHO’s pandemic treaty will undermine Japanese sovereignty, enabling the global elite to use health crisis to dictate terms, create laws, and dictate terms to democratically elected governments so uh thank you japan for showing us the way and next one please and uh as uh you all uh also pointed out the historical uh press conference in costa rica and there actually uh was a government hearing and it gave medical expert a voice so we’re always glad to report on this because Costa Rica Parliament is one of the first ones now to welcome this kind of post-pandemic live meeting, but whilst even we have to report that Marco Albertazzi with Defendamos Costa Rica actually said that the video of the press conference was removed from YouTube, but together with Professor Cavallo, Dr. Natalia Prego, Dr. Marc Trozzi and Professor Carina after the White House, to name just a few, it truly was an historic event and we hope that many more governments on this planet will follow. So, next one please. And, uh, just, um, as always to, um, end, uh, with a nice, short inspiration. Uh, this time it comes from Chief Dan George, uh, Tsleil-Waututh Nation. And it says, may the stars carry your sadness away. May the flowers fill your heart with beauty. May hope forever wipe away your tears. And above all, may silence make you strong. So thank you very much to all the wisdom of our indigenous cultures on this planet. And I’ll hand it back over to Yilma. Thank you so much, Christophe. I did put the links to some of those things in the chat in the various places that we’re streaming, especially our Substack links. You can actually watch that full three and a half hour press conference that happened in Costa Rica on our Substack, but it is in Spanish. We are hopefully going to get access to some with translated subtitles sometime soon. So if we do get that, we’ll pass that along to you because it really was a wonderful and full three and a half hours. So now we are going to introduce our guest and interview. We have Zoe Strickland joining us to interview Dr. Michelle Gamble. If you’re just joining us, Dr. Gamble is the co-founder and director of It Takes a Village Ministry, as well as Sankofa Healing and Enrichment. She is an author, an educator, a mentor, and a speaker. And she specializes in assisting people with chronic illness to transform their health. Dr. Gamble has guided many people on the journey of transforming their health and becoming empowered to break free from chronic illness and previous dependency upon drugs, surgeries, and other medical disease management interventions. Dr. Gamble is a board-certified alternative healthcare provider with advanced training and certification in various areas of health. Her revolutionary message is all people have a divine healer within who can break free from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual pain and suffering to lead happy, healthy, and purpose-driven lives. It Takes a Village Ministry is also a coalition partner of the World Council for Health. So without further ado, let’s listen to this interview. I am delighted to welcome Dr. Michelle Gamble from Florida, who is one of our fantastic coalition partners, partnered with It Takes a Ministry, or sorry, It Takes a Village Ministry. And welcome, Michelle. Please do share a little bit about you, your background as a holistic doctor with our audience before we dive in. OK, well, thank you very much, Zoe, allowing me to be in partnership with your organization. I was tickled pink when I connected with you guys at the recent conference that we had for Children’s Health Defense in Savannah, Georgia. When I saw you all, I said, ah, these are kindred spirits. And I just knew right away that I wanted to make that connection. In any case, my name is Dr. Michelle Gamble, as you said, and I am blessed to be the co-founder and one of the directors of It Takes a Village Ministry, which is a 501c3 nonprofit organization here in the United States that actually we have a global mission, which is to create and sustain natural healing communities across the globe. This has been a passion of mine, oh gosh, for all of my adult life, I think, for over 25 years. And it started out with my own personal health journey where I recognized that I needed community. I was very knowledgeable about a lot of things pertaining to health, but I got to that point after the birth of my fourth child where I was completely overwhelmed. Now I can put a label on that and say, oh, it was postpartum depression. But at that time, I didn’t know what I was going through. All I know is that I ended up in an office for a psychiatrist and within the span of 15 minutes, she quote unquote diagnosed me as bipolar and gave me a prescription. As I was walking out of her office, there was just something that came over my heart and it just said, no, this is not my journey. This is not who I am. In that moment, I also came to the realization that I needed to do three things. I needed to, number one, learn how to heal myself because I was not going to accept that medical hexing. And number two, I wanted to learn how to help others to heal, especially us as women, that we are significantly misaligned with the current medical paradigm that sees everything that is natural for us as a medical intervention possibility. And the third thing that I realized is that I needed community. I needed sisterhood. And so that’s when I embarked on creating what is now It Takes a Village Ministry. We started out as Sankofa Learning Center, and then I recognized that I wanted to divide things into a for-profit, which became Sankofa Healing and Enrichment, and a non-for-profit, which became It Takes a Village Ministry. And that’s pretty much where it started. Amazing. That’s really inspiring to hear that journey. takes a lot of courage to tune in after getting that kind of medical advice and actually decide, actually, no, this isn’t my path. And I think it’s so important for our audience to hear that message. So it takes a village. When I hear it takes a village, I think, OK, it takes a village to raise a child. Is that the inspiration for that name? Really and truly. That is part of it, that it takes a village to raise a child. But in reality, it takes a village to just be a healthy and whole person in life. There is nothing that you can think of that occurs in your life that didn’t happen without the assistance of other people intervening on your behalf. I know a lot of times we want to believe that we did all of this by ourselves. You know, we even have this concept of quote unquote single mothers or whatever it is. But the reality is that there is no way to have a healthy life as an individual, much less as a parent, whether you are a mother or a father, without that village construct. Because we have shifted into these isolated cells where we have this false belief that we can do it on our own, or rather we should be able to do it our own, that is what has helped us to now create more dis-ease mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. God never intended us to be alone. From the very beginning, when God created man, God also created woman and said, go forth and multiply and produce, which means you’re going to have lots of children and nations. We weren’t meant to do this alone. So the concept of It Takes a Village is actually an African concept, has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton, although a lot of times she wants to take the credit for it. but it’s an African concept that says we need to work together. Nice. Thank you so much. And community. So obviously community is incredibly important. Why is community so important and how, how should we navigate that in this, you know, digital era and you know, what should we not get stuck in and yeah. How should the next generation approach that? Well, Part of it is going back to one of my themes, which is Sankofa, which is to go back and fetch it. Go back to fetch the wisdom of our ancestors. You know, we like to think that we are so much more involved and so much more intelligent, you know, with all the technology. But reality is that we are worse off today, health-wise, than we were a couple decades ago, even. What do I mean by that? Even before the pandemic, about one or two years prior to 2020 in the UK, you had what was created to be the Minister of Loneliness. When I learned about this, I was just fascinated because what the research was showing before the pandemic was that loneliness had become so pervasive that it was the number one health issue, not only in the UK, but I would like to say here in the United States. The research is showing that that feeling of loneliness depresses the immune system. Imbalances are created within all the other systems of the body, whether you’re talking about your gastrointestinal system, your hormonal system, your cardiovascular system, all of them are impacted to the point where it is now said that loneliness, that feeling of loneliness is akin to smoking several packs of cigarettes a day. Now we know, without a shadow of a doubt that smoking cigarettes is one of the worst things that you can do for your health. However, we’re not so aware of the fact that loneliness can create such devastation. Now we’re starting to see the evolution of that trend of loneliness, that loneliness wherein even though we are connected through wonderful devices such as the internet, us being able to communicate right now is phenomenal. In spite of that, people are more lonely today than ever before, because this connection that we have cannot replace the connection of one-to-one in terms of someone being here with me in my space. All of those years ago, those decades ago, when I walked out of that office with that practitioner, that sense of, my God, I’m alone. I felt like I was trying to raise my children alone because at that time, my husband was in the military, always being shipped out, and we as a family were going from one base to the next. If you are military, or if you can imagine for a minute, you’re constantly put into another location where you are alone and you’ve got to create your new community. Or like most people, like what I did, I kind of isolated. and said, I’m going to do this. I’m going to, you know, tough it out. And I’m going to try and do all of this stuff. And it becomes overwhelming trying to figure everything out, having all of these voices in your head, having to have these conversations in your head, as opposed to having someone who’s there who can put an arm around you to just look into your eyes, to just put a gentle hand on your hand, to give you that message that You are not alone. The power of community is immense. That is why I tell people this is one of the first things that they disrupted in the COVID era. The first thing that they said was, stay six feet apart, put a mask on. Why? Ask yourself, why was it so important for them to give us this messaging? It had nothing to do with the virus because now the message we know that the mask didn’t do anything and the six feet apart, guess what? Mother nature is going to do what mother nature does. And that virus is going to spread regardless of at some point in time, you’re going to have to come out of your bubble. You’re going to have to have some kind of interaction. So why was it so important for them to give that messaging? And the reason is because when people are allowed to come together in community, or should I say not allow when people choose, choose, to come together as community. That is the first step of empowerment. There is nothing that you can do in this world alone that is of any significance. There is everything. The possibilities are infinite when we come together as community, when we’re able to see that the core of who I am is synonymous with the core of who you are. That is why In the Indian tradition, they have namaste. The God in me recognizes the God in you. The divine in me recognizes the divine in you. If we could put all of this other stuff to the wayside and realize that at the end of the day, each of us wants to be loved. Each of us wants to feel a sense of being valid. Being seen. being heard, and you can only do so, you can only recognize and realize that purpose and that divine design when you are in community. You can’t do it alone. Thank you. That was a really important moment in what you just said, where you corrected yourself from saying um when you’re allowed to or when when you’re allowed to to when you choose to and I think that’s going to be what it has been and it may well come back into the future into this how to how to help each other rewire that and actually um sort of protest against that waiting for permission um and shifting into choosing so What advice would you give to our audience as to how to shift from, am I allowed to, to I choose to? You know, that I think is the core of everything right now in this world. You know, when we think about our health journey, when we think about our finances, when we think about politics, everything, everything boils down to the reality that we need to shift out of this paradigm of permission. Government was not created to give us permission. Government was created to enshrine and protect our rights. The thing is that you have to recognize that these rights are not given to you by man. No man can give you the right to your life. Your rights are divinely designed, enshrouded in your DNA. The creation of mankind, womankind, however you want to name it, is divine. And that is why it’s not about waiting for someone to give you permission to do anything. No one is going to give you permission to get healthy. You’re going to have to say, you know what? this is the divine design by the creator for me to be healthy and I choose to claim my divine inheritance think of the power that you feel when you shift out of that that that paradigm that says somebody else is going to have to do such and such for me to get blah blah blah that is the paradigm that allows whoever you want to call as the powers that be, whatever it is, to stay in control. If you allow yourself to break away the shackles of the mind, the heart, the spirit, and truly see yourself for who you are, a beautifully designed, a perfectly designed byproduct of a creator that is awesome. to be bold, to be kick-ass and say, you know what? I don’t have to ask permission. If I want to create community, I will create community and you can’t do anything about it. Because in reality, you don’t have that power. And that is what they’re afraid of. They’re afraid that you will recognize that if you woke up tomorrow and said, I want to create community, you can do so. How do I know that? Because that’s what I did. I said to myself, you know what? I cannot afford for my children to not have their mother. I cannot afford for my children to have a subpar existence. I recognize that my children needed for me to be healthy, needed for me to be supported. And so when I looked around, I said, if I’m going to give my children the best version of myself, I need to make sure that I create community. If the community does not exist right now, then I’m going to create it. And so I literally sent out flyers to perfect strangers that I had never ever met before saying, I’m gonna have a women’s meeting in my living room. Cause I was like, I’m not going to wait to say, oh, well, I have to have a building and I have to have a this and I have to have a business entity. I was desperate, Zoe. I was desperate. I said, I cannot continue to do this. I cannot continue to show up as less than for my children. And that is what motivated me. So the question for each person that is in the sound of our voices today is to ask yourself, why are you here have you really took time to to consider what is your purpose what is it that god has designed has put on your heart and ask yourself can you do that alone just a question can you do that alone and if the answer is no that you need a community then the next question is what are you going to do about it Are you going to sabotage your divine right, your divine purpose? Or are you going to say, you know what? I need to figure out how to get this done. In the South here, we have something called get her done. Just get her done. Just do it. Nobody else can do it for you. love that I love I love that you made flyers that is so bold and so brave I mean I i recently went through this because I recently became a mum and I realized I need a I need a mum’s community and it took a lot of bravery and gusto to you know take myself first of all to the events where there was when you know mothers like you know I went to singing Mamas, which is an amazing group in the UK, and sung with Mamas. And I found the local Mama group. And if I bumped into people on a walk, I would try and befriend them. But it took a lot out of me. Sometimes I was just too nervous and too fearful. I think for me, one of the most important things that I ask myself when something blocks my progress is, is this a decision from fear or is it something else? Because if it’s fear, that’s not a good enough reason. But fear is a very real thing now. So how do you get over the fear? How would you recommend to get over the fear? As I said, Zoe, I looked at it as embracing the fear, really and truly. The fear of the consequences. I was more afraid of what would happen to my children if I didn’t make the change. I was more afraid of what would happen to myself if I didn’t make the change. And that’s why I encourage people when I have conversations with them, especially in the health field, when I’m looking at prospect of taking on a new student, I asked them, what will happen if you do nothing? What will happen if you don’t make any changes? Because if you’re not afraid of what will happen if you don’t make any changes, then you won’t make any changes. And I think if you look at yourself, and I’m talking about every person who’s listening to this, when you look at when you have made the most phenomenal shifts in your life, It has been those moments when you made the realization that I’ve got to change. I choose to change because I want something different. I want something better. You know, it’s just like with addicts. They say to you, you cannot make a person go through rehab. That person has to come to that realization of I’m more afraid of what’s going to happen if I don’t go to rehab. And when you get to that point, when you come to that realization, you know, for me, it’s also I’m afraid of not fulfilling the purpose that God has placed in my heart. That is what motivates me every single day, every single day, because I don’t want to be on death’s doorstep and say, man, I should have done more. man I should have done xyz for my kids or I should have done xyz for someone in the community I could have but I chose not to because of fear nice there’s a sentence that recently motivated me and it is what you don’t change you choose and that was a big driving force for me in my latest sort of health uh glow up as you might you might say um which leads me to ask you actually about the seven deadly bees oh that’s one of my favorite topics because you know one of the things that we as an organization have decided to do is to embark on the adventure of going into the communities with what we refer to as a hope and healing tour, which is basically a period of five days that we go into a community and we do various workshops that focus around helping people to become empowered. The first part of that journey, however, is awareness. Most people are not aware of the fact that the real pandemic that is occurring in our world long before 2020 is the pandemic of chronic illness. And the drivers of chronic illness are metabolic disturbances, such as blood pressure, blood glucose, bloating, which is indicative of digestive distress, burnout, which is indicative of all kinds of breakdowns in the system, belly fat, a significant indicator of metabolic resistance, insulin resistance, rather, and metabolic syndrome. burnout and blues and brain fog. Again, all of these are what we refer to as the seven deadly B’s because these are symptoms that most of us can find some kind of medication to medicate, you know? So if it’s bloating, you know, there’s something that can take for your gas or, you know, your upset tummy, you know, for belly fat. Now they’re doing liposuction, they’re doing osempic, whatever. your blood sugar you know metformin blah blah yak yak everything is something that can be medicated but the reality is that these are deadly signals this is your smoke detector going off in your house and instead of saying I need to find out why my smoke detector is beeping and alarming you say man that’s an annoying sound and the firefighter comes in like yes yes where’s your smoke detector and takes this big ax and just bashes it and says all right job is done and walks out now if if the fire department came in and did that you would be highly upset because you would be like wait you’re not going to look and see why the smoke detector went off you’re just going to smash it to bits but that is exactly what we do when all we are taught to do is to medicate the symptoms. Nobody wants to do the deep work of going down to find out why are these alarms going off? Let’s not smash the smoke detector. Let us first look and see what is causing the smoke detector to go off. So when we embark on the hope and healing tour, we’re in the mission of helping people to become aware of what’s going on more importantly to become empowered because the reality is the fire that created the smoke that triggered the smoke detector that fire can only be put out by you it cannot be put out by medications yes you can get a medication to quote unquote lower your blood sugar levels but what triggered the blood sugar levels to go high, that is in your wheelhouse. You have the power to change your sleep habits, your dietary habits, your movement habits, your lifestyle habits, your stress response habits. All of those things are in your wheelhouse. God has designed you to be able to heal yourself. This is contrary to the messaging that we get all around us that tells us, that we should not trust our inner instinct. In fact, we should trust everything that is external to us. Trust the experts. Yes, they know best. They know everything. Our ancestors, I don’t care which tradition you are looking at. I don’t care if you’re in India or if you’re in China, if you’re in Africa or if you’re a Native American, every single, or in Europe, every single one of our traditions has the tradition of prayer and meditation, going within, asking for guidance, asking for clarity, asking for insight, asking for understanding. And I guarantee you that when you do so, the message is not going to be, oh, you need to take some Ozempic. I guarantee you that’s not going to be the message. The message is going to be something that empowers you to shift something in your life And not only will that symptom be alleviated, but several other aspects of your life will start to come together and you will have clarity like never before. You have drive like never before. You’ll have that sense of power and passion and purpose like never before. When you say to yourself, I know that the answer is within. That is the message that I heard when I left that office. All those many years ago, the message was go within. I went home and I went into prayer and I said, God, I know this is not what you have for me. I know, I know, I know. I want to tell every single beautiful soul that can hear me and see me at this time. God has a beautiful design for you. God has a desire for you to be happy and prosperous and powerful. and full of passion for life. That is the design for every single person. Question is, will you take the time to go within? Will you trust that the answer is within you? And that answer is an answer of love. The answer that will give you all that you desire. What you truly desire. If you really are honest with yourself at the end of the day, What you truly desire is to have a sense of peace, a sense of feeling powerful, a sense of prosperity. That is something that no man can give to you. No woman can give to you. No drug can give to you. That is something that only comes from within. And with the support of a community that has your back, that says, yes, we believe in you. We believe in your power to transform your life. We will support you and walk with you. That is when miracles happen. Thank you so much, Michelle. I was going to end this asking what the most empowering message you can give is, but actually you’ve given so many empowering messages throughout the whole interview. But I would like to ask you to talk a little bit more about one of the amazing things that you do, which is the Doctors Are In, because I know that many people here would really benefit from joining you on that. Oh, that is one of my favorite, favorite things every month. On the third Thursday of every month at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, we have what we refer to as a free virtual health clinic, meaning anybody anywhere in the world can log on. And I know there’s a time difference. So even if you’re not able to join us at that time, you can send in a question, any question that you have pertaining to health. And we have a panel of various natural health practitioners. We have a homeopath. We have myself. We have a cardiologist sometimes. We have dentists sometimes. Depending on what the question is, I will open up my little book and look for somebody who can answer that question. And we delve into it in terms of helping you to understand how you can approach health and healing with regards to your specific question from a very nuanced manner. Each of us in that panel will present a different way of approaching it. so that you get alternatives. The key to informed consent is the word informed. Unfortunately, most medical practitioners are not informing their patients. They’re giving them a prescription, they’re giving them a diagnosis, and that is it. This free virtual health clinic allows you to hear some different voices so that you can go, hmm, now that’s something I didn’t know. Let me do some research. That is what we’re there for, to help you to go, hmm, let’s think about that. And to encourage you to go down the rabbit hole, to ask questions, to challenge your provider. We sometimes will give you questions to ask your provider like, hmm, the next time you go into the office with that person, ask them this, ask to see this lab result, ask them to do this lab test so that you can have a fuller perspective and have options when it comes to your health or the health of your loved ones.
