As we move together into the new year, the World Council for Health is excited to welcome two additions to our Steering Committee.
We invite you to join us in welcoming Dr. Katarina Lindley and Christof Plothe to the World Council for Health Steering Committee.
Dr. Katarina Lindley
As a young adult, Katarina fled a war-torn country, living in many places before she found herself in the United States enrolling in medical school in Florida. She soon became a family physician with a special interest in family practice. Katarina is concerned about the broken healthcare system in the U.S. and in response has become involved in health policy at the state and national levels.
Katarina is a mother of five, a board-certified family physician, and owner of a direct primary care clinic. She is the President-Elect of the Texas Chapter of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). AAPS is a non-partisan professional association of physicians and surgeons in the United States and is a Coalition Partner of the World Council for Health. AAPS was founded in 1943, dedicated to the highest ethical standards of the Oath of Hippocrates and to preserving the sanctity of the patient-physician relationship and the practice of private medicine.
Katarina joined the December 6, 2021 WCH General Assembly Meeting to introduce AAPS.
