Spread LOVE Campaign
The World Council for Health calls on all people to help co-create a better world. We have therefore initiated this simple campaign to uplift others.
The Spread LOVE Campaign is designed to work at an energetic level. We are manipulated in various ways into reactive patterns of anger, sorrow and fear, which prevent us functioning at our best.
We can counter these negative patterns by sharing positive energy through this Spread LOVE campaign. Bringing more positive energy into our daily collective experience will open us all up to the inspiration and courage required to imagine and create a better world!
The main component of the Spread LOVE Campaign is the ‘hand heart’, an elastic bracelet with a handmade pink felt heart that can be readily shifted from the wrist to the palm of the hand to communicate a message of thanks or greeting. Flashing a ‘hand heart’ uplifts both the sharer and the recipient in a brief communication that bypasses the brain and reaches the heart.

For example, ‘hand heart’ love can be shared:
To wave ‘goodbye’ or say ‘hi’
To say ‘thank you’, e.g. when a driver shows kindness on the road
To defuse an altercation
To uplift someone’s spirits
To bring colour to a dreary day
To dissolve red/blue political barriers
To spread LOVE not fear.
There is one sure way that we can ‘do no harm’ and help others, and this is to spread love!
Gather the materials you need to craft the hand hearts. Create a crafting group to create your trove of ‘hand heart’ treasures. Put them in a bucket and give them away in your village square or mall. In our experience, children and grown-ups alike LOVE them. Be sure to demonstrate how useful they are and show others how to make more. Let’s see how fast we can spread LOVE around the world!
